CTET September 2026 Notification | Major Changes in CTET 2026

Candidates should be aware of a significant policy shift regarding the examination center:

• No Choice of Exam City: Unlike previous years, the online application portal does not provide an option to select an examination city.
• Random Allotment: CBSE will allot the examination city to applicants on a random basis.
• No Changes Allowed: Requests to change the allotted exam city will not be entertained under any circumstances.

CBSE Teacher Recruitment 2026 in Primary Level (Class I to V) | Eligibility with September 2026

1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (सीनियर सेकेंडरी (या समकक्ष) में कम से कम 50% अंक तथा 2 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा इन एलीमेंट्री एजुकेशन (किसी भी नाम से ज्ञात) उत्तीर्ण या अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए) OR
2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations 2002. (सीनियर सेकेंडरी (या समकक्ष) में कम से कम 45% अंक तथा NCTE नियम 2002 के अनुसार 2 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा इन एलीमेंट्री एजुकेशन उत्तीर्ण या अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए) OR

Government Teaching Jobs in Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) | Eligibility with September  2026

1. Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (स्नातक उत्तीर्ण तथा 2 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा इन एलीमेंट्री एजुकेशन के अंतिम वर्ष में अध्ययनरत या उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए)
2. At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). (स्नातक या स्नातकोत्तर में कम से कम 50% अंक तथा B.Ed उत्तीर्ण या अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए)
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulations issued from time to time. (स्नातक में कम से कम 45% अंक तथा NCTE नियमों के अनुसार B.Ed उत्तीर्ण या अध्ययनरत होना चाहिए)

8. Moreover, candidates pursuing teacher education courses recognized by NCTE or RCI are also eligible to appear in TET/CTET as per NCTE guidelines dated 11-02-2011.
