Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2023

Lakhs of students belonging to Scheduled Caste-Tribe and Backward and Extremely Backward Classes of Bihar will now be able to get Post Matric Scholarship Scheme easily. There will be no need to apply on the National Scholarship Portal. Education Department has prepared its own online portal of Bihar with the help of NIC.

Under Bihar Post Matric Scholarship, online applications will be sought from June 12 to July 15 for the financial year 2022-23 in the Scheduled Caste Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Scholarship Scheme. For more information you can read this article.

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Under this scheme, the following students   will be able to apply for Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Scheme –

1. Applicant permanentlyThisMust be a resident of the state.
2. The caste of the applicant should be included in the list of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes issued by the State Government.
3. The total annual income of the applicant's parent or guardian from all sources should not exceed Rs.3,00,000.
4. Under the post-admission scholarship scheme, only students studying in higher classes after passing the matriculation / entrance examination can apply for the scholarship.
5. after passing one level course second equivalentToWill not be entitled to scholarship for studying in RS.
