Bihar CET B.Ed

  • To be eligible for the B.Ed. Programme, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields like Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. Those with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, specializing in Science or Mathematics, must have a minimum of 55% marks. Equivalent qualifications are also accepted.
  • For the Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. in Sanskrit) course, candidates must have 50% marks in a Bachelor’s degree with Sanskrit as the main subject and a Master’s degree in Sanskrit or Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra. Alternatively, those who have passed Shastri (B.A. including Sanskrit) with 50% marks and have completed a 2-year Acharya (MA Sanskrit) course must also pass a Bridge Course. However, marks from the first year of Acharya/MA will not be considered in the final percentage calculation.

  4. General Awareness – 40 Questions / 40 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Unreserved candidates need a minimum of 35% (42 Marks), while SC, ST, BC, EBC, EWS, and Divyang candidates require a minimum of 30% (36 Marks) to qualify.
